KV CANTT KANPUR is founded in 1982. It is a premier, co educational and senior secondary school affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi- with Science, Commerce and Humanities streams at 10+2 level. At present the vidyalaya is running in two shifts. In 1st shift there are five sections in each class from I to X and four at +2 level, we have two science sections, one section for arts group and the other for commerce. In 2nd shift there is one section from I to X and at higher secondary level one section of science and commerce stream exists.

At present the vidyalaya has a team of 92 teaching and non teaching staff in the first Shift and 34 in the second shift. Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanpur Cantt is a two shift school. First shift timings are from 7:10am to 1: 20pm and Second shift timings are from 11:45am to 5:55 pm. In our vidyalaya there are 58 class rooms,3 computer labs with 2Mbps Internet connection, 4 science labs, 1 social science lab, one confrennence Hall, 1 maths lab, 1 library, Basket ball code, cricket play ground, football play ground and 1 sports room.
